THE HIGHLIGHTS Nestled in the heart of the 6 million-acre Adirondack Park, the Lake George Area is a mecca of outdoor activities and recreation year-round. If adventure is what you seek, on land, enjoy hiking, climbing, cycling, caving, rail-biking, zip-lining, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, horseback riding and skiing (Nordic and downhill), or view one of the oldest professional rodeos in the country.
On the water, try your hand at fishing, sailing, ice fishing, skating, parasailing, canoeing, or kayaking. With so many choices, there truly is an activity for all ages.
