 ALBANY AIRPORT
GETTING HERE
• The Lake George area is:
3.5 hours north of New York City, 3 hours south of Montreal and
3 hours northwest of Boston.
SOUTH OF LAKE GEORGE: Albany International Airport is located 1 hour (50 miles) south of Lake George and is serviced by all major airlines, including Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest and United.
NORTH OF LAKE GEORGE: Plattsburgh International Airport is located 1.5 hours (98 miles) north of Lake George and is serviced by Allegiant, Spirit and United Airlines.
LOCAL: Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport is a local airport 20 minutes south of the Village of Lake George in the town of Queensbury and is home to the annual Balloon Festival, as well as a commercial airport for small-to mid-sized aircraft.

GGFT provides year-round public, fixed-route transit and ADA compliant paratransit services to the following areas Monday through Saturday: The towns of Lake George, Queensbury and the city of Glens Falls, town and village of Fort Edward, town of Kingsbury, village of Hudson Falls, town of Moreau and the village of South Glens Falls.
GGFT also operates seasonal trolleys between Glens Falls, Lake George and Bolton Landing!
• Memorial Day weekend through late June – Weekends only
• Late June through Labor Day (as far as Bolton Landing) – 7 days a week
• Weekends after Labor Day through Columbus Day – Weekends only
